Just a sketch trying out some new brushes on Sai uwu
I know this is a strange subject matter to draw out, but i figured this is something i rarely spoke of and never illustrated. Raphael’s death.
Killed by the man she loved and in the end she did not resist him. She devoted herself completely to him, and even though i’m sure he really loved her as well his but ideals and insanity took her life in the end. She knew what kind of person he was and what he was capable of, and some may even call her weak for surrendering herself completely to him. But i’m sure she felt she wasn’t even living before she met him, and he gave her purpose for a brief period of time. Raphael is definitely one of my stronger characters physically however emotionally she was never able to deal with anything and lost herself completely in the smallest forms of kindness.
Ughhhh i hate thinking about her because i love Raphael so much and she just ended up being someone i feel so sorry for. I’m sure she’d never want my pity.
I almost feel cruel for making her life so difficult.

The depth that you go to with your characters, especially this one, is impressive and intriguing. I think it says a lot about you as a person, especially since you've been really focusing on Raphael.
As for the picture itself, very nice! You did the realistic facial features well, especially the nose/nostrils. I'm not sure if I like the greyish blue highlights, but that's probably just me. And as always I love the way you draw eyes and eyebrows, and that is still going strong here.
